Still playing with PWP5. It's a predictable image I'm afraid, I wonder how many comments I'll get?

Shame on you David. You can always rely on me for a comment Tremendous detail in the bee Love the perch as well Now I'm going to get myself into trouble. Is it a Dame Edna or a Foxglove or have I totally lost the plot?
P.S. I would really lose those frames. They don't do anything for your images. Less is more??
Hi David
I have to agree about the frames. I had loads aboutmine before I changed them.
Great detail.
As a RHS man I am confused flower wise too.
Lobelia spp maybe ???
Maggie - What's a Dame Edna ?? maybe Kim in drag ?
Cheers

David, what constantly amazes me is how you manage to get such pin-sharp macro pictures hand-held - and at ISO 50 - and then you get the bee to come to a particular flower in close-focusing distance. I say it's magic, not photography.

Another very fine and detailed macro shot with lovely vivid colours, the bit of leaf sticking into the frame at the bottom should go.
If you like the frames stick with them and

John, Dame Edna is a reference to that famous Australian's favourite flower the Glad (iolus).
Tom, your probably right about it being magic - Sigma magic and a steady hand.
Great colours and detail - very nice!
