Spent a lovely weekend at the coast with my fiancee - the weather was incredible... had a nice little perk come my way with a framed print sale - the offer to stay two nights in the buyer's Manzanita condo if we delivered the product, so we couldn't say no to that..
This was Saturday's sunset at Rockaway..

Nice shot Ned. I was down in Rockaway last August and tried to get a similar image but all I got in the two days we were there was heavy mist and sea spray, visibility around 50 feet or so. Impossible to keep the glass dry for more than a few seconds. But hey it was a great time visiting old friends and the beach is always cool place to be. I'm quickly learning that this game is all about timing. Nice job on the water and the sky is gorgeous. Curious, what are those darker orange specks just off the URC of the rock on the right?
Regardless, well done.

Thanks Craig and Bruce... I love the place too, especially when the sun sets a little further South and passes through the tunnel opening...
The spots you mentioned are birds in flight, trailing off the rock when spread wings.. because of the time, they are slightly blurred, but I liked how they looked and left them in..

Great soft light and lines Ned. Great exposure for the water motion and I love how the rocks visually connect the water with the sky. With this image you're likely to see even more print sales!
