A Turnstone popped up from behind a large the block a stone of an embankment on the beach. Perhaps an image that's not to anyone's liking, but I was quite pleased with it. I would really like to know what you think of it, so comments and critiques are most welcome and appreciated.

Well it is different Sandra, and i like it. Maybe the birds blends in a little bit too much with the background but it is a refreshing image!
Well done

Hi Sandra, the picture is nice, but I am not too keen on the highlight blobs. :toast:

A nicely isolated bird, with mush in both fore and backgrounds, maybe a touch higher in the frame to aid the comp but it's still got my vote.

Although the colours are very similar, the brightness of the bird allows it to stand-out well. Other nits already covered - pleasing shot!

I love this! Nature at its kaleidoscopic best. Really interesting mush of colours and shapes.

I like it. A good combination of sharp subject and difuse, undistracting surroundings.

Hi Nice Pic, I think i would be tempted to crop a bit of the bottom. the bird is isolated really nicely.

well seen.
