I'd like to publicly thank Tim Emerson, who I met at the Shindig, for saving my bacon this weekend. Kalin and I had the "soft" opening of our photo gallery on Friday and we couldn't have done it without DuraPlaq.
Tim went the extra mile (many extra miles, actually) to make sure that my work was done on time even though I delivered it to him very late in the game. Not only did he get everything to me on my ridiculously short time frame, all of the mounting was flawless! In fact, during the opening we had almost as many compliments on the mounting as we did on the photography.
Huge thanks to Tim and all the folks at DuraPlaq!

Awesome news Caz!! So when can we come by your gallery and what are the hours????
Time for some photos of your new place! Glad to hear that Tim once again came through. I can't tell you how impressed I am with the work of Duraplaq and the extra effort Tim is always willing to put in to make up for my mistakes.
While I haven't had anything work done yet by Duraplaq, I've spoken and emailed with Tim, and have seen other photog's work and have been very impressed. The quality is fantastic, and prices are very reasonable.
Very impressed with the Duraplaq product, in fact, I am going to have a few of my 303 Project images mounted soon... thanks Tim!
Congratulations on the opening of the new space CAZ and Kalin. Now I can harass you guys and Neil on First Fridays (and park my big red truck in your parking lot ).
I was the lucky stiff that won the door prize at the shindig to have a print done by DDI and mounted by DuraPlaq. Got the print back last week and it's fabulous! I can't recommend DuraPlaq highly enough. I've always been a mat and frame guy but this is good enough to sway me for future products.
Dude, I had no idea you opened a gallery. Congratulations, CAZ! Where is it? What's it called? We'll come check it out on our next trip to Denver. Woo hoo!
I done quite a bit of work with Tim as well. His work is just amazing as well as the way he takes care of you.
Congrats on opening your gallery!

Well I guess the cat's out of the bag, even if the cat isn't quite mature yet
We have a site (that still needs a lot of work) up at http://www.naturephotographygallery.com/. You can see some before and after pics of our renovation and First Friday.
We had a great time with everyone who browsed through on Friday, even with half of our art on the floor. We'll be putting the finishing touches on the physical aspects over the next several days, and getting some web and print media made up, as well as setting hours and other details.
We'll announce our official opening and make sure all of our RMNP friends know about it soon!
Tim is the best. Fantastic product and personable service.

Oh, just to tag onto the Duraplaq theme. I had over a dozen pieces mounted by Tim and they are all great! I also had an idea for a dynamic triptych mount and Tim worked with me to realize my vision to great success. I'm looking forward to working with his crew for a long time to come.
Thanks for the congrats and well wishes. We will make a "real" invitation to the CNP/RMNP folks when we've actually got all of our photos hanging on the walls. We were already behind when we were hanging the first images as people came into the gallery. I explained to the folks with kids (and Neil 'cause he's short too) that we were displaying the photography on the floor to be a kid-friendly gallery.
Of course, shortly after that, I installed a light fixture with backward polarization and blew out 2/3 of the gallery lighting. Doh! Fortunately one of our neighbors had a trade show power source he loaned us and our other neighbor, Neil Corman, pitched in to help us get the place in moderately presentable condition.
After that we received very different responses to our displayed works. When people saw my stuff the standard reaction was, "Where was this taken?" When they saw Kalin's photos they usually just stood there gaping and muttering "Oh wow". One woman, who just might have been drinking, actually called her friend over to one of Kalin's images by saying "Oh God! You're gonna shit yourself when you see this!".
Congratulations to both of you, and I can't wait to come to your grand opening! I will bring by "Adult Diapers".

CAZ, did you also put a cooler on the ground for the vertical challenged as well?
CAZ and Kalin did a great job in getting the gallery fixed up, or should that read Kalin, Carl's crew (the handyman) and CAZ's friend Gary did a great job in getting the gallery ready. They really have transformed the space which was there before hand and brought it out of the wood panel ages.
Tim and the Duraplaq folks have gone the extra mile for me a number of times and I have yet to reject a piece. The product is great, the process is green and the service is top-shelf! Thanks Tim! Congrats Caz and Kalin!
