Ok,

Crazy title I know. But I loved the way these poppies were reaching up for the sunlight.

Well guys Spring is definately kickin' into gear! I am still processing images from this past weekend which turned out great. The poppies were fantastic. We headed to Frenso to check out the Blossom Trail which was nice as well. And thanks to Jay I was able to find some really nice wildflowers in the Fresno Hills.

Nice, balanced composition. The "looking up" perspective separates this from a lot of flower shots.

Jay, the weather in that Fresno area can be very volatile during Spring. But hey, you live in Yosemite so I guess you are used to weather like that. It should be looking really nice in the Merced Canyon and other spots up there soon.

Nice perspective, here Derek, The clouds in the upper right look too hot on my monitor, though. The poppies are very nice looking!
