Hare
I managed to get off work an hour or so early today ( don't tell the gaffer .) and went back to a hare site I've been keeping an eye on for the last fortnight . Numbers have been really low whilst the weather has been so bitter . However this mornings visit showed numbers increased so a client visit was necessary at about 3 o'clock .
( the client did want to see me honest  )
An hour passed and finally they came trooping across the field .
One from about 4.30pm today
Tech's
D300 ( The D3 is poorly )/500mm F4
ISO 400, 1/640th , F5.6
Cr /pp Cs3
All CC's welcome.
Thanking you in advance .

Like it Mark, particularly the way the light catches the hare's face and ears - that makes it for me. :toast:

Thats just the job Mark. Nice expression in the animals face and got him onh the move well.
Incidently no shortage of Hares all winter here but they do go into a mode of "I dont want to know you right now" Boxing going on since December at least but extremely difficult to get close to.

Major.

Works for me Mark, like the stance

I assume you will be organising a 'scoping' meeting soon, with your client.

very nice Mark, well captured. Certainly worth nipping off from work an hour early  A bit more space on the right would improve it slightly but no big deal.

Cracking shot Mark, nice to see some action. Light is really nice too.
The hare is still my nemesis.

Superb image Mark, lvoe the framing and timing on this one and the dark bg really makes the hare 'pop'. I might consider cropping of a little of the oof fg though. :toast: :toast:

I do like this, and it works as it is, I have a feeling that it may be a wee bit better with a slight (slight) dip in colour temp as the warmth appears to be coming through in the black BG.

Hi Mark, nice shot. I think the black background is nice but agree with Toms comments as above. Its a nice pose with the eye sitting directly on the third.

Minor nits covered a very nice image. Lovely eye on the hare and the late afternoon lighting just sets the whole thing off. :wavey:
