B/W Palouse Tree
Early morning a few years ago, dull sky, so i turned it b/w. Your comments are appreciated.

Cliff, the obvious distracting part of this image is the fuzziness in the mid part of the tree. I'm also not too sure about the blown sky without a defined border. Otherwise I think it's really cool! IMHO of course.

Cliff, love the composition and back light. The tree makes a great silhouette subject and I like how it protrudes into the negative space above. I agree with Erik that the lack of an edge to the sky might not work in all applications. My eye tends to wander out the top of the frame. Perhaps with a dark matte?

I think the dark matte idea is the cure here! This image has a strong infrared feel to it that I like! The above comments cover any nits I have. Mainly I'm liking this quite well and would love to see it matted on dark mat board and hangin on a wall!

I love this one Cliff!! The notes on the sky are well taken, but they don't bug me much and this would make a spectacular magazine cover. Sharpening the central tree is a good idea. Nice! :toast: :toast:

Thanks all for the suggestions. Will see what i can do with fixing. I noticed in ps4 a topic on how to put lines or frames around the edges, will try and figure it out. Still photoshop stupid, but really like ps4.
