its a fine shot and far superior to the earlier posts.Just a hint of magenta creeping in ? a tap on colour correct and a drop in gamma to 0.85 just pings it .

Agree with Mark, even the tips of the wings are sharp too. nice. my only nit is there seems to be noise in the dark areas of the feathers, or is that how the feathers are.

Cheers

Nits mentioned and I too can see the noise appearing in those dark feathers, i assume you recovered from the light conditions? Mark D's tips are spot on and really do add to the image. Nice work.

Great capture and very sharp! Love the framing but I agree on the slight colour cast. Thats easily fixed though  :toast: :toast:

Hi Ian, very nice flight shot and I like the way the bird is looking at you. The nits have been covered and I agree with them. :toast:

The light coloured sky may not be the most desirable of backgrounds at times but it certainly allows the bird to stand out particulary well, as demonstrated here.
I also like the way the bird is positioned diagonally within the frame.

Excellent position and sharpness. Nice to get a kite with great plumage and no wing tags too.

Have to agree the repost is better Ian. Do you think we should join a camera club? Maybe we could find out which one Des belongs to

I agree the second image is an improvement on an already fine capture.
