A good, sharp, detailed portrait. The birds colours are shown off particularly well here.
A little too cramped in the frame for me but the quality more than makes up for that.

A little more room around the bird would have been nice Robert, but as Justin mentions, the quality of the shot is excellent, colours are spot on too.

Very sharp and such a lovely and forgotten bird  they are everywhere and always give your position away :frown: colours and markings are lovely.the tail is a little tight but still a fine WP image Robert   :wavey:

Very sharp and a tad too large in the frame, needs really more space around it but still very nice.

Hi Robert, super image and the nits have been covered. :toast:

Nits covered, but still a great image of a species that ought to be getting more coverage than it does. Why do most of us ignore common species?

Tight in the frame but shows some fantastic detail, great perch and the bird stands out well against the background.

very nice detail and colour just a shame there is not more room for the tail

BIF - great. For once, though I wish there was a tad more room near the tail. An excellent portrait nonetheless.
