hip hip, first flight shot
hi friends,
I would like to share with you my first decent flight shot.
The BG is a bit messy I know.
Would like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for looking,

Lovely colours and definition on these Mallard in flight Bertl. :toast:

Those Mallards are really popping Bertl, great seperation from the BG and the blue speculum's look very good, nice to see a sharp shot from a 7D.

I dont think the background is too messy, the image has a real 3d feel to it. As John says it really pops.

Bertl

The birds really pop out and I'd be interested to know how you were positioned at this level?

An excellent shot of a bird we usually take for granted. I can only strive to achieve such results with my 100-400 lens. Well done Bertl. :toast: :toast: :jump:

Fantastic! Love the BG too as it gives a real idea of depth.

Very nice Bertl,

They really stand out from the BKGR. I agree that a shade off the top would improve.

Cheers

Thats very nice , the faint have over the background gives the birds life .

Wonderful clear colour on the ducks and I don't find the background a distraction at all.
A bit of seperation between the two leading ducks would have been the icing on the cake but still a cracking shot as it is. :toast:

Very nice shot, the background works for me and all three birds nicely in focus.

Great shot. As for 'nice to see a sharp image from a 7D'. They are commonplace!! Well done Bertl!

Could almost be a composite image with the £D effect offered by the detail you've captured with those duck Bertl. Brilliant capture.
