Fresh Powder
Last weekend my husband & I went to Grand Lake, CO. We awoke Sat. morning to 4-6 in. of fresh powder. We hit the East Inlet Trail on our snowshoes and had a blast! (First time we'd ever snowshoed.) I had some camera problems in the morning so didn't get many images. We went back later in the afternoon and while my husband did a trail run, I took a few more images. I converted this one to B/W to help hide the harsh light.

Canon Rebel XTI, tripod
70-200 mm lens
ISO 100, F11 - 1/3 @ 1/250

Angela, the four layers from foreground to sky lead my eye through the scene. Well done!

Great job with a spectacular scene under difficult circumstances, and and excellent conversion to black and white.
