I've hardly posted since I've been here, so here goes since we'll probably miss this this year. And I may not be living in California for much longer...

Taken at Anza Borrego Desert State Park - Febrary 2005, Sunset. Looks a heck of a lot better on my computer than on the web.

Things have sure slowed down here at CANP this month haven't they.

FWIW this image screams ABDSP to me... I am going to say, DiGiorgio Rd, North of the Christmas Circle... looking West at sunset?

Great setting and composition. Hard to say Richard, but almost too much grad in the sky on the left. Have you tried a shadow/highlight on the a sky selection?

It was the Henderson Canyon road, where the huge field of flowers were about a 10 minute walk in from the car shooting west. DiGiorno sounds familiar, are we thinking the same place? It rained for the next week afterwards and the flowers didn't quite look the same after this day. I probably could have composed more to the right so the sky would be lighter on the left. I had to stack 5 stops. If I could do it again, I'd pull the soft filter up a bit so the flowers in the back aren't so dark.

Yes, you take DiGiorgio North, then turn right on Henderson.
