Red legs in long grass near to Mindrum in the Scottish Borders

"Don't stick your head above the parapet" springs to mind. They must stand out a mile in that sea of green. I like the near symmetry of the two birds and the way the are looking in different directions. Very nice indeed.

They certainly look alert. I like the setting, it’s as you see them as the car pulls up just before they run, nice picture.

lovely light, probably would prefer a crop on top and bottom, great compostion,
