Beach
Walking bottle beach with the tide out. I was looking for stuff like this. The weather didnt co-operate for much else light wise. As always thanks for the critiques and suggestions, good or bad.

I checked this out a few times this evening.. I think I'd like it better with the shell a little less centered. good study of the diagonal lines against the lines of the shell ridges..

I like the shell, the lines, the lightness and color of the shell against the dark sand. I agree it might be a too centered, but it isn't too big of a deal to me.

It's okay, Cliff. Nice symmetry in the comp; I'm on the fence about centered or not. Nice contrast of the opposing diagonal lines and the color of the shell against the sand.

Ditto on the shell in the center.... Otherwise I love the textures in this one.

I would have gone at a little more of an angle in order to de-center the shell and create a larger sense of scale (small shell big beach). Nice diagonals by the way. The color is effective as well.

Better? Or wrong side?

Better. It offers a nice off-center anchor to the wavy lines of sand. I like it.

My first thought when I saw the first one was "too centered" I would have gone for the lower right but where you have it looks great. Damn sharp, too!
