Colors and Textures
On the way out from Calf Creek Falls, Guy and I were amazed at the colors and textures of the various plants and trees. We kept trying to find a "flow" through the scenes and this is what I can up with.

(as usual for my posts, the saturation here looks pretty much nothing like the print. I'm at work in front of my roasting computer with the bland, non-calibrated screen also.)

Mark, I like it - I'd be curious to see the print - on my monitor, the shadows seem really dark... maybe a bit too much contrast. But I see what you were going for - these images are not easy to make work (like the forest image discussion earlier)......

Lovely image, on my (fluorescent-illuminated) monitor at work, it doesn't appear too dark at all, in fact I'd like to see it darker, some of the highlights wash out a little. I look forward to seeing it on my home monitor tonight.

Yeah, a little more fuzzy please...that would really be cool...

Mark,
I like it. It kind of reminds me of one of my shots in the St. Helens area this last fall with the colors and fairly clean composition. Actually I really like this!
