Red Crested Pochard
Taken last week again at Lake Geneva,A few of these are arriving and taking bread so not a problem getting close, wish the same applied to the goldeneye which are keeping distant

Hi Dave

Nice shot. Good light, composition is fine and the water texture is very attractive. Whites look ever so slightly blown, maybe -1/3 stop less on the exposure would have been ideal.

They sound nearly as tame as the captive RC Pochards at Slimbridge

Sounds like Lake Geneva is a good spot for wildfowl photography.

cheers

This is very attractive, Dave. The eye and bill really hold the attention. Nice work.

Nicely done Dave,

The head turn has saved the day and resulted in a fine shot.

Very nice indeed, good head turn.... as said white seems to be blown but that may be due to the compression.
