Hi,I've been looking on the forum for over a year now but this is my first post, and I can't believe how nervous I am.
I took this picture 2 weeks ago while driving over the Lammermuirs,in the Scottish Borders.
I hope you like it but all comments would be most welcome anyway.
Thanks,Phil.

Welcome. I really like this grouse in the snow. It looks like it is trying to keep warm and is different from the norm.
I may be tempted to clone out the two dark distractions (is one poo )
Otherwise fantastic first post - look forward to more
A tad oversharpened as Tom mentioned but a real nice image anyway. Don't be nervous - this is a great forum with great people!!! Look forward to see more of your work.

Agree about sharpening, but easily rectified. Exposure spot on and I like ruffled pose.

Thanks very much for your comments.
Marcus,Yes.
I thought I would post a second(hopefully better version) and I've added a border as well which may help.

Nits covered great first post, very different to the norm
Welcome to the forum and an excellent image to begin posting with.
The ruffled feathers are superb and I really like the inclusion of the small bit of vegetation in front of the bird.
