Bang on I reckon.
It doesn't matter about it looking at you. There is an eye on view and its got a nice catchlight.
Arm yourself with a squeaky dog toy and the bird will turn and look as long as you don't overdue it.
Bang on for me too, although a tad too central for me, but excellent detail, clarity & sharpness. I can certainly live with this BOAP What's the strand from the under wing?

A class image, as Steve has picked up on maybe a little too central, but that does not detract from a great image.

The owl itself looks great and the blue background is superb.
Has the background had much manipulation? The reason I ask is the owl has quite a dark area surrounding him and there's quite a bit of colour banding in the background on either side of the bird just above the height of the post.

Hi Justin ,i havn't done very much to it at all (the whole image) i did nothing to the bg at all , the only thing i can think of is theres a wire fence running behind the post .
With regards to the dark area im not sure what this is but i've been having some issues with my screen (see my other posts ) that i hope to have sorted by early next week !
