I found that when using high speed sync on one single flash the flash will work properly giving me a fill in flash above 250th of sec. But when using one as a master the high speed will show "Hi" in the viewfinder and will over expose the shot. Any one know a solution?
The nikon tech told me that pretty much you are unable to use two flashes one as master and other as remote in high speed sync.
The tech didn't seem to knowlegable.
thanks

Pocket Wizard has has RF remote controllers that provide that function for Canon and they have announced new ones for Nikon but are still in the testing phase.

Larry, what is it that you are trying to take a picture of?

I am trying to use two sb900 side by side w/ better beamers for extended range. D3 w/ 600mm. I might try a nikon flash transmitter w/ two sb900 as remotes instead of one Master and one remote.
