Daisy's
Tonight I was shooting some lenses that I wanted to sell and decided since I had the macro lens out I would shoot some flowers with my wife just got with strobes. I know it isn't exactly NP but it is fun to shoot none the less.

Beautiful images, did you remove the backgrounds or just shoot against something white?

I like that 2nd one Jim. It has a lot of character to it. I get most of my flowers for the wife from Costco.

I shot both images with a white background. I positioned my strobe so it would blow out the background completely.

Both are very nice, Jim. I like the blown out background.

I also try to shoot all the flowers that I give my wife. In fact, I should probably be giving her fowers more often.

These are great. I've been wanting to do this same thing all winter. Maybe this will give me some inspiration.

I like that you shot them with a white background. I took a macro botanical class recently and learned to paint the flowers with LED lights during a long exposure. I will email an example to you or if it would not be inappropriate, I could post it here. Since I am new to this forum, not sure the best way.

Well, thought I would just go ahead and post one of my macro images since it is relevant to this thread.
