If I want to try a 50mm manual focus reverse lense using the 55 mm reverse coiupler ring with my Xti does it matter what brand of 50 mm manual lense I use? Could I use a Minolta with my Canon?
Thanks for guidence in advance.
I have a great Sigma 150mm I use alot but want to set this up for a friend.

Brand doesn't matter - any 50mm lens reserved will work.
As far as I now I does not matter. Because you dont use the electronic contacts or whatever connection there normally is between your camera and lens. Just use a lens that fits to your coupler is enough.
Just as long as the flitersize of the lens fits to your coupler.

Thanks so much for the replies. I didn't think it mattered, but though I would double check.
