Hi Kim,

Lovely shot sharp and well exposed :toast:

Only minor nit for me is the OOF black bit behind the tail.

Hi kim,

I agree with Ian about the oof black spot behind the tail, but otherwise a lovely shot of this beautiful bird with a nice catch light in the eye.

Thanks for the comments, I agree Ian and Sandra with your comments regarding the oof black spot behind the tail - but just thought it too risky to remove. Would be delighted if anyone could prove me wrong!!

lovely sharp shot and nice pose

Kim, this is really sweet, a cute shot of a lovely bird. Saw one recently, elsewhere, but this outstrips it by far.

Great detail and use of DOF and the sharpness is spot on. Even the 'perch' looks natural, juxtopose to a branch. As JR has said before, it is sometimes difficult to get the right balance.

Well done. :wavey:

Stephen, very many thanks for your really encouraging comments and for the re-post. I did have a go at it but the tail is much better on yours; mine seemed a little smudged. :toast:

AAAH, I forgot to delete this before posting my comment as I wanted to e-mail you first, sorry and big apologies.

It's not brilliant as working on a web file is rather difficult at times, plus as you say, there is very little detail in the tail area to work on, if you know what I mean. Very happy to delete. :wavey: :wavey:

Thanks Steve -the apology is totally unnecessary - as I said - very glad for the interest.
