I was photographing the main hare for about 20 minutes. It wasn't until he got up and moved about 3 feet to the right that I even saw the female tucked up in the vegetation.
I've made an appointment with Specsavers!
Canon 1D Mk11N,500+1.4 canon lens,1/800 f8 and iso400.
Thanks for looking and all comments welcome.
Phil.
Excellent image. With one of the hares it would be good but the fact that there's a second one tucked away in the vegetation puts this up a couple of notches. Having a catchlight in the eye of both hares is an added bonus too.

Excellent image all round, just a slight shame about OOF but thats how it was.

Well done for getting so close. I find the OOF foreground a little distracting, but otherwise a superb, sharp, crisp shot.
The fact there are two takes my eye away from the foreground.
Super shot Phil, this is one animal I would really like to photograph.
