Not yet spring
Shot this Thursday evening as the cold front moved in that dumped ~4" of snow on me Friday night. I thought the color and texture of the old fence post was a nice foreground for the colors in the sky.

I very much like the soft lighting and pastel colors in this image.

Well done.

We had cold wind,rain and a few show flakes fall, all around budding trees. Ahhhh, spring!

The detail and color in the foreground are what I enjoy most about this. I think a square crop down to just below the horizon might work too.

the soft light and the detail in the old post are nice. We only had about 1" of snow :).
