Morning everyone. I travelled to The Hide yesterday, in some of the worst weather possible, pouring rain, fog and terrible light. I decided to give it a bash, and I'm so glad I did, as I witnessed the most beautifull birds feeding in some awfull weather. I even managed a few shots of a very different creature, which I will save for later! ;-). This shot of a Great Tit covered in raindrops is from yesterdays shoot. The BG is a thick misty fog, if you look closely you can just make out the raindrops falling.
Regards,
Paul.

Sometimes the worst weather can enhance our images and I think that is definitely the case here.Nice one Paul.

Rian drops really add to the atmosphere of this image.
I think you succeeded in making a nice picture. I think the fog is helpful for giving you a nice BG. I had the same experience a few weeks ago in one of our national parks.
You did a fine job, considering the circumstances. Nice background, great detail and the rain drops certainly created a very nice atmosphere. However I'm not so keen on the perch.
Lovely detail Paul. Agree the fog has created a lovely BG and the raindrops add to the image. However I agree with Sandra about the perch. If Andy or Mark see this perch you are in big trouble
