Hi All
Fieldfare taken to-day with a Canon 1D MK11n camera and a F2.8 300mm lens and a 2x conv. Taken at 1/800sec F8 Iso 320 Very slight Crop to take down the top of the picture. All comments welcome. Should I clone out the Apple?

Hi John

Super shot and great exposure and the apple IMO helps to make a fine image even better!

Hi John

Superb shot and leave the apple - I think it adds to the overall image.

I really like it. I think the apple should stay too !

The angle looking down on it is quite interesting.
Were you in a hide or was it on a bank ?

Nice one John,

A real winter image {thanks to the snowy setting}, and a fine result.

I too would leave the apple!

Ah, so the apple trick does work then, I like it it adds colour and purpose (the apple that is).

Nice one

Hi John

A very attractive shot and I agree the apple should stay. Good exposure and great detail and colour in the bird. I might consider cropping a bit from the top of the frame, I prefer it that way if I do it on my monitor screen. Personal preference though.

Has it been snowing up your way then?

cheers

Beautiful shot of one of my favourite birds, John. I think I would leave the apple, too!
