One from the garden today. Not a very good cloning job on the branch :frown:

Hi Maggie,
To be honest I don't think this is one of your best shots. The sharpness is ok, but I you said yorself the branch is a little disturbing. It also looks if the bird is missing some tail, but that could be the PoV.
I found the BG al little distracting in this case. In opposite of the Red Kite picture you posted some time ago where the BG is part of the environment.
Hope my comment is clear, because English is not my native language.

nice sharp eye Maggie, but it does seems as thought the tail has disappeared and I would have to agree with your assessment of the cloning  Nice colours though.

Very good in parts Maggie but I'm afraid the cloning and seemingly missing tail detract from the overall quality of the image.

The Black Stuff is exceptional but one can indulge, sometimes, and have too much of a good thing.   However having said that there is very nice focus on the eye, Maggie.

Okay guys don't beat about the bush just say what you mean
This photographing from a pop-up hide in the garden isn't proving easy and I think this was desperation stakes to post something that I had actually managed to capture
No Mr Taylor and Mr Macdermott I had not partaken of either the black stuff or "pop" and haven't done for 2 weeks!! Maybe thats what wrong with me   Roll on Saturday when the antibiotics are finished :toast: :toast:
