Yellow Rattle(Rhinanthus minor)
Throwing out seeds. Gets its name from the sound of the ripe seeds rattling in the pods in the breeze.(C) is for controlled more than captive !!
This done by flicking with elastic band. Takes a lot of attempts.
Two small flashes. Mamiya 645
Ecktachrome. 1976

Thanks all
David- I used a hair drier on some Dandys I did.
The way to cheat of course is lay the plant flat on some glass a foot above a matt black background and arrange the individual seeds around the plant. Terrible !!! I would never do that .
Cheers

So it's all done with rubber bands? Great result, John.

it stands out well against the black background.
I dread to think any many rolls of film you went though to get it
Here is my attempt at seed dispersal sometime back. 8 stacked images. Not a rubber band in sight.
