Lovely shot Ian
I take it these are cubs and that the shot was taken in day/dusk light rather than with flash, but the one on the right looks particularly light on my monitor?
Jeff they were both cubs and it was taken at dusk with a bit of fill in flash, the one on the right was a much lighter colour then the rest of the set. There was also a almost reddy brown one which was unfortunately found run over.

Thanks Ian - that's very interesting I've read that there can be quite a wide colour variation within a litter. Shame about the reddy brown one

Ian
A cracking shot and the timing is interesting which produced a great result.

A great shot of something I have never had the oportunity to photograph. Have you used PS to get rid of red-eye? The eyes of both animals don't look quite right somehow.

Hi Ian, I once sat in a field from 1am to 4am waiting to photograph Badgers and came away with nothing. So very envious of any Badger shots posted, think I need to brush up on my field craft smart shot by the way.

The ones that have been run over do tend to be a reddy brown
