Raccoon on a High
This sequence portrays a raccoon, possibly overweight, possibly pregnant, sleeping quietly in the sun high in a cottonwood until it heard my approach and tried to squeeze into a hole in the tree.
Made my day. Four photos tell the story.

A new appreciation for raccoon comedy. They need to have a place in a childrens book at the very least.

Nice sequence of images. Racoons are certainly one of the comedians of the wildlife world.
