Jim has already beat me to the punch in announcing Lon Sharp's recent addition to the moderating team in the Fauna Gallery, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to make sure EVERYONE knows about it!
For those few of you who don't know Lon, he's a wonderful photographer who tends to point his camera at wildlife more often than not. And, as good a shooter as he is, he's an even better image critic and commenter. I've always been tremendously impressed with Lon's thoughtful feedback on the images of others - his eye for pattern and composition is absolutely unsurpassed and, like the best wildlife photographers, he really knows how to see (and capture) the light!
Welcome aboard Lon - I look forward to working with you now and in the future (and I know Vincent feels the same way)!
Congratulations Lon!
I'll continue to enjoy all of your input here in Fauna.
The talent of the moderators here in Fauna and the ability to pick images apart and gently put them back together is as good as it gets in my opinion.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!
Neil

Congratulations Lon. Your amazing images continue to be an inspiration and your insightful commentary encourages each of us to become better photographers. Thank you for sharing even more of your valuable time with us all.
Thank you everyone. I was once given a saying that I think applies to all of life: "We learn as we go." I hope to help fauna gallery participants see what a wonderful opportunity it is that we all continue to learn from one another! Thanks again.
