Yosemite Valley weather/photo update

There is over 1 foot of snow on the Valley floor and it is STILL coming down! Saturday, March 4th, the snow is 'sposed to let up and the sky is 'sposed to be clear to partly cloudy. Then, Sunday the snow is expected to start again. This Saturday should be excellent for photography in Yosemite Valley.

I'll be camping in the valley in 2 weeks, should be interesting.

David -- A friend and I are looking at making a run done to Yosemite to try and catch the valley in its spring splendor...dogwood, etc. in bloom and waterfalls in top form. Since I have never been there before and it has been sometime for my friend, i was wondering if you could comment on the time periods that might be best for such a trip?? Thanks in advance for your guidance and direction!
