Slippery When Wet
Hi everyone, thanks for the comments on yesterdays image, much appreciated! Tonights is very fitting weather wise anyway. The first shot I took last Saturday morning, in the Fog, and Pouring Rain. This Coal Tit wasn't the least bit bothered though!! All comments most welcome. :wavey:

Canon EOS 7D, Sigma 150-500mm, Tripod and Gimbal Head.

f6.3
ISO 800
1/200sec
@439mm.

Slight crop from LHS, to improve comp, no noise reduction, but a little USM applied after resising.

Nice detail and lovely background. Like the composition and unusual perch. A little more light in the eye would have just been perfect - but given the weather conditions.... :wavey:

you did well under the circumstances agree with Maggie more light around the eye and head for me just looks a tad to dark

The weather helped the Great Tit pic but I feel this one needed a little more light.

Looks like a winter image, nothing spring-like about the weather or the light.
Agree that it needs a wee bit of light here and there, but as a gloomy weather pic it works well :toast: :toast:
