I found this nice little waterfall while exploring Spirit's Creek near Shores Lake road. It is about 7-8 feet tall and is a short walk from the road. I left 5 inches of snow in Fort Smith hoping to find at least that much in the Mulberry area, but as you can see the snow did not hit the Mulberry watershed. This is not a huge waterfall but it was raining/sleeting/snowing and the colors around it were vivid and it caught my eye. There was a lot of evidence of wild flowers and in about two weeks this area should be nice.
Even though you didn't find the snow you were looking for, I think you still found a nice little spot to come back to. It will be interesting to see what this place looks like when spring color arrives.

Lovely image Tom; this is also a good reminder that nice scenery can be found at any time. Thanks for sharing.

Tom,
Nice capture. The layers of moss covered rock disappearing into the hillside draws the attention into the waterfall and beyond. Nice DOF.
