I love these creatures, and this one was really cooperative, and this is a wild bird.

Very cool. I wish we could see a little more below the branch, but it's not a big deal. What a great looking owl. Nice shot!

Great portrait!

Owls are amazingly tolerant of us humans. They seems to realize that we don't present much of a threat. I've walked up on a few while out hiking and it amazes me how close I stumble upon them before I notice them!
