In the Garden
We planted several tubs of bulbs on our back deck last November. I tried many combinations of background flowers to come up with this one, which is my favorite. Shot with a Canon 100mm L Macro lens at f 2.8.

Tony,

You inspire me to shoot some of my own blooms in the yard. I have flannel bush, tree poppy and ceanothus blooming right now. Is your little beauty a tulip?

Yes, they are all tulips. The big red flower at the top is a tulip that has opened all the way and is getting ready to drop.
