Red Squirrel on pine stump,in heather.
The wife's health is not so good at the moment,which means I can't get out so much.So I'll have to post a few older images.
This is from a couple of winters ago.
Canon 1D Mk11N,300mm canon lens,1/125 f5 and iso250.

Great ear tufts and some nice light there too.

Yes its tufts are spectacular, shame about the perch which is not, IMO. Overall though, a very pleasing image indeed. A speedy recovery to your wife, Phil.

Those ear tufts are truly amazing. Very nice image but agree with David about the perch. Still I would happy to have a Red Squirrel on any perch :biggrin:
