Sand Patterns
I shot this last week as the spring runoff in the Chippewa River receded leaving some sandbars with what I thought were some interesting patterns.

Very unique patterns. I really like the 2 different shades of sand. Is it safe to assume the lighter sand is newer/ washed down from elsewhere? Cool capture.

I really like the lines, shapes and colors here. This is one time I would rather have less shadows than more, but those lines and colors are compelling. Well seen!

wow very nicey done.... I think the shadows and the shaft of light running thru the center adds drama to the images. Well done Phil and keen eye

Nice , I think I like the lines of shadow as well. It is always interesting how the water plays with what ever toys it has and gives us such to show how much fun it had.
