As many of you know, Grant Collier and I have been in a Facebook race to be the first one to have 1,000 fans on our photography page. It's been a fun and free way to help give our businesses a little more exposure. We've been at this for almost a year now and it has taken A LOT longer than either of us anticipated. Well, today the race should come to an end. I need just 25 more people to sign up and put Grant in his place. If you want to help either of us humiliate the other, visit our pages at: http://Facebook.com/MorningLightPhotography or http://www.facebook.com/CollierPhotography. Thanks for playing along.

Well, congrats to Erik! I spotted him a lead of 120 fans and he somehow managed to cling onto that lead throughout and beat me to 1,000 fans. As a concession to defeat, I plan to also donate $100 to Erik’s charity Global Business Assist once I get to 1,000 fans. The real race to 10,000 is only just beginning, though. And I fully expect to win that race sometime in 2035!

Congrats on reaching the goal!

Hopefully part 2 of the challenge does not include farmville or mafia wars.

You had me at hello. Of course, Grant did too. And some time ago, I might add.
