It's beak reminds me of Rod Hull's dreaded Emu
They can be a pest in fruit orchards
but still very nice to see as long as you aren't a fruit grower.

Lovely image Maggie, would prefer to see a wee bit more of the Bullfinch.

Its a lovely image Maggie, the only nit being that it's too far left in the frame for the "virtual" tail to have room to fit!

Nicely lit Maggie and a nice BKGR. I agree with Nigel about wanting more on the LHS.
Cheers

Hi Maggie,
I agree with Philip, but other than that a very nice and well composed image.

Hi Maggie,
Very nice shot! I don't mind not seeing the whole bird, but I would echo the comments about a tiny bit more room on the left.
Cheers,
Lewis.

Nice sharp, well exposed image but would be even better with a bit more bird and a bit more room on the left.

Bogey bird for me too, I agree about the extra space on the left.

a bogey bird for many of us I suspect, I see them so rarely. Minor nits mentioned Maggie but still a very nice image.

Thanks all. I can see your point about a little more room on the LH side.
