Cotton Candy
I made the long and lonesome trek to Smith Creek today. I had a great window with all the storms this evening. Water levels were a little lower than I anticipated but they were still fine for photography. I had the place to myself. I went all the way down stream from the covered bridge to the second large drainage that empties into the creek from the east. It is very steep and covered with large mossy boulders. Water was not flowing in from that one very well at all. The wind blew a hundred miles an hour but down in the creek bottoms I avoided that pretty much. It appears that the Conservacy is going to put in a parking lot in a fairly level spot about halfway down the road. I did get some of that new gravel in my tires!

Nice.

Have you tried this in monochrome? I think that might really bring out the water better.

Thanks for the info Bob. And it's good to hear you were able to have the place to yourself.
