I love the vertical pano presentation of this grouping. Everyones facing the same direction and the detail and colors are so vibrant that you feel like your there! Excellent job Ned.

Wow, that's an eyeful of red! Beautiful comp. I know they can look that red, but to me, in the image, they look a little over-saturated and a touch to the yellow side?

The tulips are popping up like popcorn, too; I gotta find a field and have some fun!

Thank you. They were being hit right about here with the rising sun, so I left the color as is....

Nice work on the comp, Ned. I agree that the reds are a bit over saturated...they're really blowing out on my monitor...It would be interesting to see what this looked like with a bit of desaturation on the reds only...

I'll third the blown reds. Seems like the image has a color cast on it as well. I really like the comp... I bet you can work this a bit more and put it with the rest of your amazing floral work.

I'll try to cool it down some. Funny, the reds in the ol histo are not blown at all - but admittedly direct light on this color seldom works for me.

Actually as I remember the "blown" look comes in when I convert it to srgb for the web - the rgb file looks perfect.. I'll blame the conversion!

Did you go to the Tulip fields up in Mt. Vernon? If so, I am wondering how the condition is?

Ned, great comp. Tone down the reds and you have a winner.

I didn't go that far, Chun - but in Southern WA, the bloom is maybe 15% or so, and still needs a little to get crazy..
