Well, Bret wasn't alone as you can see from this group of characters (plus this photographer) at the entry sign on the Mineral Bottom side. Three days of 4-wheeling, lots of severe clear weather that didn't make for great shots, some clouds and one terrific storm that Bret documented in his post. What follows are a couple of my efforts along the way.
Glad you made it back, Rod! Had a great time with you, Guy and Jim and am looking forward to the next trip.
Killer photos, except that first one. Looks like I really did miss out on a sweet view on that side of the hogback. Guess I'll have to go back. Really like the wide angle version of the storm in Lathrop Canyon, too. I much prefer it over my tighter crop. Good work!
Sounds like a great trip! That last shot is fantastic! I really love the contrast in textures, the FG brush appears soft and silky which frames the red rocks perfectly. And the storm clouds put that perfect cherry on top! It's almost like a well crafted burger... hmm, I think I'm hungry
Sounds like a fun trip. Hope to get down there one day and play. The Third one is really a nice one.

Awesome sky in the second one and the third one is excellent all around. Seems like a great time.

The clouds on #2 are amazing. They seem to really compliment the terrain pictured too. A nice selection of images here Rod!

Very nice work...especially liking #3! Was the first one a shot of the local wildlife?

I had a blast with all you guys! I'm on the last day of my long desert southwest trip which started there so I have nothing to add imagery-wise, but I really like those last two shots. On the first one, I'd suggest cropping about a quarter of the way in from the left hand side. That really improves the comp!!!
