OREGON PHOTOGRAPHY TV SHOW!!!

Oregonian nature photographer and good friend of mine Dan Sherwood finally got his pilot finished.

This coming Friday, April 2nd, 2010, 6pm is the big debut on OPB!

The show is called "Oregon Photo Adventure" (Photographing Oregon With Dan Sherwood - Outdoor Photography and Photography Tips).

Check it out (and I will too). Please tell all about it. Dan is a great photographer and great guy.

He also asked for those who like the show to contact the station and heckle the host!

will the show be online anywhere for those of us who can't get OPB? I'm heading to OR in late May and would love to see this show!

I will post it here if I find out.

I've known Dan for several years as a member of the Oregon chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). Dan really knows what he's doing with a camera in the outdoors - it should be a very good show.

Oh my...what will Art Wolfe say? I must be honest and say that I'm curious of the location of the shoot for the pilot. At first, I questioned a place that has so many shots from every level of human being...but then maybe it might be a good location because it is so popular?

I have not heard of Dan before, but I wish him great success...

I'll be sure to set the DVR for this one!

Rick, not sure of the location? Sounds like he's been shooting in different locations (Gorge and others).

About Dan: he is a successful professional photographer of many years (does a little bit of many things including stock). Very knowledgeable, very personable, totally laid back personality and reminds me of the surfer type (but don't let that deceive you into thinking he does not have a very strong methodical work ethic). He has climbed and snowboarded down almost every NW Mt. Although I have not yet seen the show, I think it will be good!
