Ned and I got out Saturday morning and shot some tulips. The fields were only about 5-10 percent blooming so far. The cold weather that is upon us wont help that much this week! I'm on the fence about this one. I used my black shirt as a backdrop on this grouping and I'm wondering what you all think about it?

Pretty good! I might have upped the DOF a little, though... pretty good representation of the conditions there too..

I like the selective focus you chose for this image, and also the separation of elements you have for the tallest bloom. The dew drops add some needed texture and the color and light is superb.

I agree with the other comments on your selective DOF... I like it! I think the different shades of red and pink and the lush green leaves against the black BG, all come together in this beauty!

I like the fade to black type thing with the dof. Nice job.

one of the best tuilp images I've seen... the focus really works here.
