Hi this was taken on Friday morning the dark purple background is a storm over Blackpool as I was standing at Southport looking back over the estuary, it got much darker than this about ten minutes after I took the image.

Love it Phillip. background, composition, and the symmetry of the two males vs the single female all really come together here. Well done.

Cracking light Phillip,

The dark sky makes the perfect backdrop for the birds plumage, and a fine shot to boot!!

Great capture of a fine trio. A little more room between the rear two birds would be ideal.

Lovely, I like it the bg really sets off the birds...

Hi Phillip

Great flight shot, nicely framed and a great background sky. Birds are spaced well and not overlapping. Nice image.

cheers
