Hail from the Heavens!
I was on top of Red Bluff Drive at Petit Jean on Saturday when the storm rolled in. Snapped these .jpgs. Not really looking for a great shot but I did hang around for sunset to see if it would be a good one. Good as far as photos go that is. Sitting on the bluff, in the cool breeze, watching God's sunset is always an amazing and awe inspiring experience!

Quite a vista and quite a moment with Nature:

By the way, I found this definition of nature from an old classic, The Leviathan by Thomas Hobbs.

I liked it; hope you do to... "The Art whereby God hath made and governes the World."

Yup, that the way he spelled "governes"... old English.

The "ART" word is the key, eh. I would add to that taking time along Red Bluff Drive just to appreciate that word and concept.

Thanks for reminding me, Dottie.

Dottie, we saw this storm from up above Piney. It was fun to watch...Saw 3 different rainbows on the way home! Looks like you had a nice time on Petit Jean. I love the rainbow. Talk about being at the right place at the right time! Very nice. Looking forward to seeing you at the gathering.

I like the ominous clouds and the rain coming down in the first shot; and the rainbow is spectacular. Thanks for sharing Dottie.
