It looks way cool but that price tag is WAY TOO RICH for my blood!! It makes the price of our recently purchased his n hers RRS BH-55's way affordable!!

Sure, I'd love one of those...but I'll settle for the Manfrotto 405 Pro Digital Geared Head.

I recently visited the city of Dubai, where one of my sons lives and works. It is a city of total excess - world's tallest buildings, 7-star hotels, an indoor ski resort in the desert, and $100+ dinners (per person). My son's take on Dubai: "Because they can. Money is no object."). The same might apply to this Arca-Swiss tripod head.

Then again, with unlimited budget, RRS could probably do it even better. : )
