Fluke
Yellow Hammer
One from my new farm hide. Complete fluke
So what can you say? Didn't realise the underwings were so white.

Great eye contact for a flight shot and really nice head detail and colours. Fluke or not, it's an attractive shot John.

It may be fluke, but it's a cracker.

Great flight shot, the slight head turn and sharpness at the right point make the image. :toast:

I was expecting something really interesting like a liver fluke or something,   However this displays great technique despite the level of luck you say was involved.

Hi John,

Thats a cracker, fluke or no fluke! The head looks a little dark compared to the rest of the plumage, but that really is nit picking!

Cheers,

Lewis.

Thanks again. When I say "fluke" it was because I actually took the picture of this bird on a perch, but the auto focus on the big Sigma is a pain and the Nikon shutter delay is not the best . So in effect I missd the bird on the perch completely. Its a big crop too, as you can imagine.
Cheers
