One from Saturdays foray for Bullfinches. Both Male and Female pheasants wondered across my path, it would have been rude not to take a picture of them
I love the muted colours on the female.

Beautifully exposed, Ian. I think there is a little bit more space above the bird than is needed, but otherwise a superb shot.

Nice exposure Ian. It would have been better to see more of the bird perhaps

Fine for me. Beautiful detail and focus on the eye. Also great colours against a complementary BG.

Very nice Ian !
Maybe a bit off the right but no big deal.
They are indeed lovely birds in close up. I just prepared a head shot to go on so you beat me to it !! It'll keep.
Cheers

Hi Ian,
Lovely close up! The complimentary colours through the plumage and bg are very nice. Might be quite nice with a tighter crop also.

Works beautifully for me and the detail is excellent, with a perfect background to go with the colours of the Pheasant.
